Amlo 5Mg Tablet 30'S

Amlo 5mg Tablets 30's contain amlodipine besilate 5 mg, a calcium channel blocker used to treat essential (primary) hypertension, secondary hypertension, and angina. It works by relaxing blood vessels to improve blood flow and reduce blood pressure.

Indications

• Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)

• Management of angina (chest pain) caused by narrowed coronary arteries

• Suitable for elderly and adult patients

Dosage and Administration

• The usual starting dose is 5 mg once daily

• Dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily based on response

• Can be taken before or after food

• Swallow tablets whole with water

Warnings and Precautions

• Avoid use if allergic to amlodipine or similar calcium channel blockers

• Use caution in patients with low blood pressure, congestive heart failure, or severe aortic stenosis

• Inform your doctor about other medications to avoid interactions
