Coufatex 5mg is an oral anticoagulant (blood thinner) for the prevention and treatment of blood clots. It’s prescribed for disorders including deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), atrial fibrillation, and for reducing the risk of stroke or blood clots in at-risk patients. The medication works by inhibiting vitamin K-dependent clotting factors, decreasing the blood’s tendency to clot.
